Dr. Jason J. Hales — AZ Endodontist

Dr. Jason J. Hales joined Superstition Springs Endodontics in June 2002. He was raised in Indiana and later moved to Utah where he finished high school and went on to college. Dr. Hales and his wife, Shondelle, were married in 1993. Shondelle is a native of Mesa, Arizona. They have a eight year old daughter, Macy Morgan. Macy was born during Dr. Hales' dental training in Morgantown, West Virginia. Their son, Porter, is four years old, daughter Marlee, is 2 years old and the newest member of their family, Addison, was born in July of 2007.

Education

Dr. Hales did his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University. He graduated from West Virginia University with a DDS degree in 1999. Following graduation, Dr. Hales completed and advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency. He completed a MS masters degree and specialty training certificate in endodontics at West Virginia University in 2002. Dr. Hales' research has been in the area of endodontic sealers. Throughout his residencies, Dr. Hales has practiced as a general dentist in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Technology

Dr. Hales is skilled in microscopic endodontics and endodontic microsurgery and enjoys incorporating the latest in computer technology into his practice of endodontics. He routinely records his procedures using digital imaging and videography. His use of digital radiography combined with digital imaging through the microscope is on the cutting edge of endodontic technology. The use of this technology allows Dr. Hales to educate patients and other doctors about the highly successful endodontic procedures and techniques available today.

Dr. Hales is also the founder and author of The Endo Blog. This unique weblog is an educational tool for dentists, dental students, dental auxillaries and anyone else with a need to learn everything about clinical endodontics.

Additional

Dr. Hales maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists and the Arizona State Dental Association. He enjoys watching college football, Phoenix Suns and playing basketball! Dr. Hales enjoys photography, videography and working with computers in his spare time. He also enjoys traveling with his family.
