Dental insurance helps you pay for the cost of your dental care. Generally, a dental benefit plan is a contract between your employer, or plan sponsor, and a third party (insurance company). These contracts vary widely. There are many ways that dental plans are designed and how reimbursement levels are determined. Your dental plan is designed to share in your dental care costs. It may not cover the total cost of your treatment. Most plans cover between 50 to 80 percent of dental services.

Our office is happy to cooperate with individuals who are covered by insurance and will assist them in filing their claims with their insurance carrier. We ask patients to provide us with all their insurance information at the time they make their appointment and we will assist them in every way possible in finding out their insurance benefits. We also ask patients to be responsible for the portion their insurance does not cover at the time of service. The patient is personally responsible for all fees for services provided, not the insurance company. We will wait 90 days for the insurance company to pay their portion. In the event the insurance company fails to pay, rejects the claim, or does not pay the total balance, we ask that the patient make arrangements for payment. We are happy to discuss any finance questions or problems they may have and find possible options.

If the patient cannot or does not provide us with insurance information, we do ask that patient pay for the service in full and let the insurance company reimburse them. Again, feel free to ask us about payment options.

We accept all indemnity dental insurance.

We are listed providers for the following insurance companies:

•     Delta Dental - Premier
•     Reliance Standard,
•     Ameritas Standard
•     Met Life

We are not a listed provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield or any PPO or HMO dental plans but that could always change so please feel free to call us or send us an email. Because our fees are modest, patients that are on fee schedules or with discounted dental plans may find our full fees to be less than other providers.
